Teachers at PPSCFE bring along a wide range of teaching experience: It varies from 5 years to 20 years. Our teachers bring in a very high level of interaction with students, build rapport & solve doubts intricately. Our experienced teachers are endowed with rich teaching knowledge during their lectures, thus, helping students build stronger concepts and get an exposure of all kinds of questions that can probably be asked in the exams.

New recruits have to undergo a systematic training regime before they start taking classes. The training given to the teachers provides them with an edge and grooms them in a way that sets us apart from other institutes. Other institutes pick up teachers from anywhere and send them to the class without sharpening their teaching abilities. But here at PPSCFE, each and every faculty has to undergo a training schedule of 3 months (depends upon Experience). The training imparted includes development and sharpening of skills like:

  1. Subject Matter Expertise,
  2. Blackboard writing and presentation,
  3. Audibility of voice, and their body language while teaching,
  4. Interaction level with students while answering their queries,
  5. Demo lectures with senior staff for content approval,
  6. Training is a way towards perfection, and requirements of PPSCFE, so that this training overcomes the variation in experiences and/or qualifications.

The faculty is selected through an exhaustive selection process that comprises of:

  1. Written Test
  2. Demo Lecture with HODs
  3. Personal Interview with MD
  4. Final Selection & Offer Letter

Suppose, if 100 people turn up for the interview, usually four of them are able to make it through finally. The rest candidates get filtered off in the selection process. After this tough and tedious selection process, the candidates are put to undergo training where their skills are polished. Freshers are also recruited from colleges like NITs through campus selection. Selections are also made from other such premier institutes across India.

PPSCFE, which is the parent company of P.P. Savani Group of School. There is no part time faculty like other institutes. Advantages of Full-time faculty are:

  1. Student can ask doubts any time during the week or anytime before or after classes.
  2. Student can come to the centre and take one-on-one sessions with the teachers and clarify all his/her doubts.
  3. They help in preparing original study materials, test papers and assignments. The permanent faculty team also enhances ‘Student-Teacher’ interaction, thereby boosting a student’s confidence level through which they feel comfortable in asking questions in the class.

Yes, PTMs are an integral part of our education delivery and feedback system. We frequently invite parents to meet with their ward’s respective teachers to understand their performance closely. This is also an opportunity for PPSCFE to get in touch with the parents and motivate them to help PPSCFE and its students achieve the common goal of qualifying in entrance exam selection. One more advantage of permanent faculty is that, parents can meet the teachers and teachers hold themselves responsible for mentoring weak students and sharpening bright students.

Our teachers conduct Daily Revision of previous lectures; Concept clearing sessions in each subject are also conducted which equip students with all possible tips, tricks and short-cut-methods to crack the competitive examinations. Student-teacher ratio at PPSCFE is around 35-40:1. Other institutes keep 100-200 students in a class. We cannot compromise with quality education at any cost. Others are concerned with business only but our top priority is the career-building of our students.

The study material provided by PPSCFE is original and is prepared by PPSCFE’s own teachers. The material prepared is strictly as per the syllabus guidelines of various entrance exams. The study material is exhaustive enough to give the required competitive edge to the students. Study material builds the concepts of the students. Concepts are then put to test by our original and conceptual test papers. Test papers designed at PPSCFE are not only as per the latest pattern of the Entrance Exams but are also intended to keep students on toes.

The intricate level problems and questions asked in the test papers truly test the application capability of students. Students are tested on part-wise as well as full syllabus tests. Performance reports of test papers and class/test, attendance etc. are regularly sent to parents, to keep them abreast with their ward’s performance. Depending on the batch size and number of batches, we often reshuffle students after 3-4 tests. The objective is to bring like-minded students together so that they learn faster and perform better.

We provide our students with original question samples that have been prepared by the competent faculty at PPSCFE. Other institutes simply copy the previous year questions or modify them a bit. This does not provide a competitive edge to the students. We have a dedicated research based team that stresses only on the study material.

Other such coaching institutes overburden the teachers with the work of making study materials. This causes a decrease in teaching quality as well as in the quality of the study material. We plan for tomorrow. So we are the leaders and others are the followers.

Proper classroom attendance records of students are maintained and monitored. Any student absenting himself/herself from classes for more than one week without prior information is called in by the principal. The school is very strict for maintaining proper discipline in the school. Also, students absenting themselves from Class Tests are reprimanded. Careless attitude towards classroom and test attendance can lead to termination or cancellation of admission of the student by the school authorities.

The medium of instruction is Gujarati along with the use of English for Jee Advanced preparation.

PPSCFE has Hostel facility at Abrama center. You simply need to visit the hostels personally and satisfy yourself of all the arrangements. A nominal hostel fees charged from each student as boarding charges.

The competition for engineering and medical entrance exams is getting tougher with each passing day. And ‘Two-Year-Course’ provides integrated preparation.

These days about 55% of the questions asked in entrance examinations are from Class XI syllabus and the rest 45% questions are from Class XII syllabus. So, preparing in the right earnest from class XI is a must for cracking these competitive exams. Now-a-days, two-year integrated program has been bearing optimum result, so if someone wishes to book his/her seat in medical & engineering entrance exams, it is wise to get enrolled in this program at the earliest.

PPSCFE imbibes the following preparation methodology among its students:

  1. Attend Classes promptly and conscientiously
  2. Read the topics from NCERT
  3. Complement it with PPSCFE Study Material
  4. Solve DPP/Practice set
  5. Clear Doubts from Teachers
  6. Attend Regular Tests for evaluation
  7. Final Review on Topic
  8. Test Series (Board Pattern Test, Gujcet, JEE, NEET

Preparing for an entrance exam is undoubtedly exhausting. However, a student can follow these tips in order to prepare well and not overburden himself at the end;

  1. Coming prepared to lectures at PPSCFE by reading Study Material notes helps student understand concepts/chapters better.
  2. Solving DPP reinforces whatever is taught in the class.
  3. NCERT chapter coverage gives immense advantage by ensuring that the Board or School exam preparation is taken care of, since entire NCERT is covered.
  4. NCERT forms the base for NEET & JEE; therefore preparation for entrance exams is also solidified.
  5. Practicing lots of questions from good MCQ books provides exposure to all kinds of questions and also helps a student to solve questions in a limited time span. Remember, for example, in NEET you need to solve 180 questions out of 200 MCQ’s in 200 minutes (approx. one minute to solve one question). Therefore, a student should not waste time in the examination hall in making himself familiar with questions. Instead, he should simply start doing the questions, which is possible only if he has solved lots of similar questions in the past.

According to PPSCFE Success Triangle, the contribution of Student, Parents and Mentors is in the ratio of 80%, 10% & 10% in their respective role for the success of a student in competitive exams. Parents should not run away from their responsibility after admitting the child in the school. The child will succeed in the entrance exam only if the parents and the teachers work together and keep the child motivated and focused.
