Introduction to the House System
At PPSCVS GSEB English Medium School, we believe in fostering a sense of community, camaraderie, and healthy competition among our students. Our house system, which begins from grade 1, plays a pivotal role in achieving these objectives. Through the house system, students are provided with opportunities for personal growth and contribute to the collective success of their respective houses and the school as a whole.
Objectives of the House System:
Promoting Team Spirit: The primary objective of our house system is to promote team spirit among students. By belonging to a specific house, students learn to work together, support each other, and collaborate towards common goals.
Fostering Leadership Skills: The house system provides ample opportunities for students to develop and showcase their leadership skills. House captains and prefects are entrusted with responsibilities that help them hone their leadership abilities and emerge as role models for their peers.
Encouraging Healthy Competition: Healthy competition is encouraged through various inter-house competitions in academics, sports, arts, and other co-curricular activities. This not only adds excitement to school life but also motivates students to excel in their respective fields.
Building a Sense of Belonging: Being part of a house fosters a sense of belonging among students. It creates a supportive environment where students feel valued, accepted, and connected to their peers and the school community.
